1. Q. What will I get for my money?
A. The basic commercial package includes the following:

• a website individualized to showcase your business. The commercial website can include just about anything you want. The basic package includes:

    * your preference of colors
    * your choice of pictures - either provided by you or illustrations selected by us if you have no pictures you wish displayed.
    * a title or sign for your website that is styled especially for your business - no other business will have one exactly like it! If you have corporate logos you want incorporated in the title, send them, along with any other specifications you wish for your business sign.
    * text in your website created by a professional writer and slanted to your particular business, product or service.
    * two free previews and two free revisions. Review your website and let us know what changes you would like...we'll do them :) Review them again and revise one more time if necessary - for no extra charge.

• free web-hosting, including 100 mb of space at another host. If you prefer banner-free hosting (recommended for commercial sites), that is available for $5.00 per month (includes three PoP email addresses). Or the completed website package can be delivered to you for uploading at the site of your choice.

• access to additional help with your website. Want things changed AFTER your two free revisions? No problem - for a small additional fee (based on $10 per hour), pages can be added or changed by request. Or you can opt for the yearly maintenance contract at $50.

• at your request, a web-based email address, completely set up in the name of your choice and accessible from any computer with Internet capability in the world. You could, of course, do this yourself, but some people don't know how. If that's the case, ask us and we'll set it up for you. (Note: for all paid banner-free sites provided by twobells.com, three PoP email addresses are included.) Return to top of page

2. Q. What if I don't like the color or want the font changed?
A. No problem - you have two free revisions. Just write down all the things you want changed and email them to us. We will change them. After that, if there are still things you want changed, you have one more go at it at no charge :). Return to top of page

3. Q. What if I want things changed or added AFTER the two free previews and revisions?
A. Again, no problem - just email us what you would like. A small additional fee will be charged, based on $10 per hour. Return to top of page

4. Q. What do you consider a web page size?
A. Each page is between 3 and 4 monitor lengths, based on an 800 x 600 pixel screen. Return to top of page

5. Q. How do you get the information for my website?
A. Go to the Required Commercial Info page. Copy and paste the questions into an email (or into a document first, then email after you've answered :), answer them as best you can and email them to us. The more information you give us, the more we can customize your site for you. Your website is created based on the information you give us. Even prior to your two free revisions, we will be in touch with you for several steps of the way, making sure that our creation is in line with your business requirements. Return to top of page

6. Q. I need a logo designed for my business. Can you do that for me?
A. Yes, is fortunate to include the talents of Tony Bell, a talented designer of personal and business logos. The price per logo depends on the complexity of the design. If you give us your specifications, we can give you a quote before we start work on your logo. However, to give you some idea, prices start at $25 for a simple design. Return to top of page

7. Q. I have a variety of photos that I wanted included on my commercial website but no scanner. What do I do?
A. Again, no problem. If you don't have a friend who will scan the pictures for you, you can mail them to us by snail mail. We will scan them for you and return them. There will be no additional fee for scanning 5 pictures for you. After that there will be a small additional fee of $1 per picture. You simply include a self-addressed stamped envelope to return the pictures to you. If you are in a country other than Canada, simply add the U.S. dollar amount of the postage to your bill payment and we will buy the postage here. Return to top of page

8. Q. How should I send my photos to you? And in what format?
A. If you are scanning your own pictures, save them as either .jpg (or .jpeg) or .gif - these are the easiest to handle. Once you have them saved in that format, email them to us as attachments to your email. Return to top of page

9. Q. What are your payment terms? And how do I get the money to you?
A. Terms are as follows:

  • After you have submitted the Required Commercial Info email to us, we will provide you with a quote of what we think it will cost to create your commercial website.
  • If you are agreeable to the price quoted, we will send you an invoice for one-half of the quoted price. (Please note that the quote will extend only to the work quoted on. If there is extra work agreed upon, extra fees will be charged.)
  • The balance will be invoiced to you upon the submission of your last free revisions and is payable at the time of receipt.
  • Additional amounts for extra scanning or additional changes or pages will be billed with the last invoice.
  • All prices are based on U.S. dollars.
  • Canadians, please note that the total Commercial $ amount will include GST.

Our invoices will be submitted through our PayPal account. Please note we only accept payment through PayPal (Note: You will be guided to become a PayPal member, free of charge, in order to make payments into our PayPal account. PayPal is a reputable international organization that is completely safe. If you wish to investigate PayPal first, go to www.paypal.com).

The following credit cards are accepted by PayPal: VISA, MasterCard, DISCOVER, American Express, and eCheck.

10. Q. What if I have other questions that are not covered here?
A. Simply email us. We check our business email many times a day and will answer you within 24 hours. Return to top of page

11. Q. When can I expect my website to be in my hands...er...browser window?
A. Some of this does depend on you :) However...

  • ...from the time we have in our hands your completed commercial information and any photographs or additional material you want included in the site, you are guaranteed delivery of your URL for your first free preview within one week.
  • Your first free revision will be completed within 2 days of receipt by us of your changes, depending on the extent of the revisions. Your second free revision will be completed within 2 more days of receipt by us of your changes, if any.
  • You will then receive your revised, finished website within 2 days of our receipt of your second revision instructions, or when the remainder of your account and any additional charges have been paid into our PayPal account, whichever is the later. Return to top of page
